About

Rebecca Stevens is a Solicitor in our Asset Planning Team.

Rebecca is dedicated to making complicated matters clear for her clients. She connects with them on a personal level, providing a hands-on approach to achieve their goals. Her rural upbringing gives her a unique insight and passion for rural succession planning, helping families navigate the future of their land and legacy.

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Waikato. Her career began in Asset Planning, developing expertise in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estates, and Trusts. Additionally, she brings valuable experience from the Commercial sector, handling commercial business and property transactions, leases, and debt recovery.

Her roots are firmly in the Waikato; growing up on her family's sheep and beef farm, Rebecca continues to live there with her husband, their three dogs, and a couple of horses. Outside of the office, she enjoys Pilates, showing horses, gardening, and getting out on the farm.

Rebecca is also deeply committed to her community. She's volunteered with Camp Quality since 2015 and has managed the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region's week-long summer camp for children aged 5-16 affected by cancer since 2023.

Recently, she was appointed as a trustee for the McCaw Lewis Foundation.

Rebecca became a valued part of the McCaw Lewis whānau in 2024.
